Eagle Point Golf Club is a semi-private facility that is open to the public with a limited amount of memberships available. We are located 10 miles east of Medford in the Rogue Valley. Robert Trent Jones, Jr. opened this spectacular layout in 1996 with natural terrain and four sets of tees ranging from the green tees at 5091 yards to the black tees at 7099 yards, creating plenty of interest, and making this course challenging for all levels of ability. Eagle Point Golf Club was selected in the top 10 public courses by Golf Week Magazine for 2007. Eagle Point was also ranked 8th amongst public courses in Oregon in Golf Digest’s “Best Places to Play” for 2009 and is ranked 11th in the state of Oregon by the Oregon Golf Association.
Take a short hike to spectacular Rainie Falls and watch steelhead and salmon make gravity-defying leaps up the steep falls as they have for thousands of years. Every year anglers and adventurers arrive from all over the world to fish the salmon runs made world famous by the likes of Zane Grey and Clark Gable. Find your own favorite fishing hole, or hire a drift boat guide and spend an entire day discovering the secret haunts of Steelhead and Chinook.

In 1968 the federal government created the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act to protect the finest recreational rivers in the Country. The Rogue River is one of these spectacular natural beauties and it is legendary for its rich wildlife, clear waters and excellent fishing. Spend a day rafting and soaking up the sun, as bald eagles, great blue heron, and osprey glide through the air above. If you’re feeling adventurous, book a rafting trip down the Wild and Scenic section of the river – it’s world class whitewater at its best.

Wildlife Images Rehabilitation and Education Center was founded as a non-profit corporation in 1981 to provide for the care and treatment of sick, injured and orphaned wildlife, and offer educational programs on wildlife, conservation and the environment to schools, organizations and the general public. Approximately 80 percent of the mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians surviving their initial injuries are returned to the wild. Animals with permanently disabling injuries that make them unable to live in the wild, if possible, are integrated into one of Wildlife Images educational programs. In the wintertime, the snow level comes within a few thousand feet of Paradise Ranch – covering nearby mountains with a blanket of snow, but keeping the golf course available for year round play. Nordic back country skiers have endless trails to choose from in the surrounding Siskiyou Mountains, while alpine skiers can head to nearby Mt. Ashland. This year the ski resort received 178” of snow and offered some of the best skiing conditions in the state.
It’s only a 75 mile drive to visit one of America’s crown jewels, Crater Lake National Park. No matter what season it is, this natural beauty offers hiking, biking and cross country skiing opportunities.
Entertainment & Art
Less than an hour away, the town of Ashland will enchant you. Ashland’s claim to fame is the Tony Award-winning Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF) – one of the nation’s oldest and largest repertoire theatres.
Nearby Jacksonville is home to the Britt Festivals, which presents summer concerts in their open-air amphitheater. Bring your picnic and enjoy performances by top R&B, Rock ‘n’ Roll, and Country performers. The Britt also hosts a dedicated Britt Classical season, featuring world renowned guest performers. Over 42 concerts are offered every season which extends from June to September.
The Craterian Ginger Rogers Theater:
Just a few miles south in Medford the Craterian Ginger Rogers Theater offers entertainment from around the world. From the Moscow Ballet to our own Rogue Valley Symphony.
Entertainment in Grants Pass:
Grants Pass offers a uniquely diverse selection of performing arts theatres, concerts, and festivals. In the summer months the town is filled with activities, with First Friday Art Walks, Concerts in the Park every Tuesday night, July-September, and the Art Along the Rogue Festival held every October. The Grants Pass Performing Arts Center houses two theaters and three performance classrooms. The main theater has the largest stage in southern Oregon, and offers an exceptional array of music and theatrical performances throughout the year.
